How Often Should You Schedule Your Pressure Washing Job in Capitol Hill Seattle

Seattle’s unique climate demands a strategic cleaning schedule. First, most Capitol Hill homes need professional pressure washing every 12-18 months. However, north-facing surfaces require attention every 8-12 months due to limited sun exposure. Additionally, homes with mature landscaping may need quarterly spot treatments for heavily shaded areas. Therefore, your pressure washing job in Capitol Hill Seattle should follow seasonal patterns. Spring cleaning removes winter buildup before moss spores activate. Fall preparation clears leaves and debris before heavy rains begin. Most importantly, timing matters for different surfaces. Concrete driveways handle aggressive cleaning best during dry summer months. Wooden decks require gentler approaches during moderate weather periods.

Seasonal Schedule for Seattle Homeowners

Spring represents the ideal time for comprehensive exterior cleaning. First, April through June offers consistent dry periods between rain cycles. Additionally, this timing prevents moss from establishing deep root systems during growing season. However, fall cleaning proves equally important for long-term maintenance. September preparation removes organic debris before winter moisture arrives. Therefore, every pressure washing job in Capitol Hill Seattle benefits from this twice-yearly approach. Most importantly, emergency cleaning after storms should happen within 48 hours to prevent permanent staining. As a result, proactive homeowners maintain pristine exteriors year-round while avoiding costly restoration projects.

Hey, so we got a little uh pressure washing, soft washing today. Um driveway, back patio. Show you the driveway, sidewalk. Then we got the back patio. So, longtime customer, we have the patio here treating it with 3% SH. You can see the moss. It’s pretty bad. It’s turned white. Let about 10 minutes of dwell time on it. But we got the turbo nozzle out. Pretty stuck on there. And then we have the pool of hell. There’s nowhere for this water to go. You can see in that corner, that’s where I’m pushing it. And this is probably the longest part of this job is pushing this water to get it to that little corner. Just push, push, push, push, push, push, push. And eventually it’s gone. >> Yeah. >> Then we have the driveway treating it. Uh we’re still using the the 3% and then go over it with a surface cleaner. Cleaned up really nice. So, we pressure washed the driveway, sidewalk, front entrance, stairs. Um, just rinsing this down, getting the screens in it, too. I have to clean the windows afterwards, so might as well clean the screens while we’re pressure washing. And that’s pretty much it. So, just a a day in the life of pressure washing.
