How I Actually Work Through a Bird-Heavy Commercial Job
My primary tool on exterior commercial glass is the water-fed pole with purified water from my filtration system. I scrub each pane — heavier passes on the dropping-dense areas — then rinse top to bottom. For lower panes where the WFP angle isn’t ideal, I’ll switch to a traditional squeegee and mop. If a deposit is thick and dried hard, 0000 steel wool handles it without scratching the glass. What I don’t do is apply any acid treatment or attempt to remove mineral deposits or etching under regular service scope — that’s a separate category entirely and not part of what I offer.
